Welcome to Lakeview Fire Protection District

Lakeview Fire Protection District is a combination staffed/volunteer fire service in eastern Tuscaloosa County proudly serving more than 4000 residential homes and families. The district provides services over a twenty-six square mile area that includes unincorporated Tuscaloosa County and the town of Lake View*. We operate out of two stations relying primarily on volunteers although Station 1 is staffed 24 hours. We also offer fire and safety education to the community through our Community Education Program. For younger members of the community interested in the fire service Lakeview Fire District sponsors a Fire Service Explorers Post. The Fire District is governed by a seven member Board of Directors and operates from funds generated by fire dues, grants and donations. It is our goal to provide the best service possible to our community. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.

*Lakeview Fire Protection District is not affiliated with the town of Lake View. For information on the town of Lake View please contact the town directly.
