Free smoke detectors

Lakeview Fire District is proud to announce that in association with the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign Making a Difference will be able to install free smoke detectors in certain homes in our district. These are homes that either have no detection devices, have a unit that fails to operate correctly or is older than 10 years. Please call our office @ 205.477.6341 to request an installation. Welcome to Lakeview Fire Protection District

Lakeview Fire Protection District* is a combination staffed/volunteer fire service in eastern Tuscaloosa County proudly serving more than 4000 residential homes and families in a twenty-six square mile area. We operate out of two stations relying primarily on volunteers although Station 1 is staffed 24 hours. We also offer fire and safety education including CPR to the community through our Community Education Program. For younger members of the community interested in the fire service Lakeview Fire District sponsors a Fire Service Explorers Post.
